My contribution to the exhibition ‘Mix it up!’ at SMK – National Museum of Art, Copenhagen, May 2015.

The publication ‘49 landscapes…’ interprets and represents the museum’s collection through a quantitative analysis of data, taking into account motifs, artists’ biographies and wider contexts – from the number of cats and dogs to how many dead queens can be found in the artworks.

This book is not based on art history or theory, but simply an admiration of beautiful paintings. This is a tribute – a layman’s way of categorising art.
